2-minute guide

How StonkVerse works

Bet on what happens next with the coins you already hold. Here's everything, in plain words.

The basics

  1. 1

    A market is a yes-or-no question

Like “Will Super Inu be worth more than KNOTS?”. Each market has a deadline. On the deadline, public data decides the answer.

  2. 2

You buy YES or NO shares

Think the answer is yes? Buy YES shares. Think it's no? Buy NO shares. You pay with a coin you hold, like STONK, Super Inu or a SpaceX token.

  3. 3

Winning shares pay 1 coin each

If you picked right, every share you own pays out one full coin (the coin you paid with). If you picked wrong, your shares pay nothing.

Questions

What does the price of a share mean?
It's the chance traders give that answer. If YES shares cost 0.30 STONK, traders think YES has about a 30% chance. A YES share and a NO share always add up to 1 coin, so if YES costs 0.30, NO costs 0.70.
How much can I win?
Cheaper shares pay more if they win. Buy YES at 0.30 and it pays 1 if YES happens: a little over 3 times your money. Buy at 0.90 and you only make about 11% more. The trade panel shows exactly what you'd get before you confirm.
Why do prices change?
Every time someone buys, the price of that side goes up; every time someone sells, it goes down. The charts on each market show every move, live.
Can I sell before the market ends?
Yes. Open the market, choose Sell, pick YES or NO and how many shares. You get coins back at the current price, which may be more or less than you paid.
Why do I pay with a coin instead of dollars?
That's the twist. Your winnings are paid in the same coin, so you keep holding the coin you like and add a bet on top. For example: SpaceX exposure that only pays out if Anthropic overtakes OpenAI. Some markets let you pick between several coins; each coin has its own price.
Who decides the answer?
Public data, never a person's opinion. Company values come from PreStocks, read by Switchboard's independent oracle network. Coin values come from DexScreener prices and on-chain supply, and the evidence file is published. After an answer is posted, anyone can dispute it for a short time before it becomes final. See every answer and its evidence.
What if the answer can't be found?
If the data source breaks or the question stops making sense, the market ends with no clear answer and every share, YES or NO, pays half a coin.
How do I collect my winnings?
When a market ends, open it and press Collect. Your winning shares turn back into coins in your wallet.
Are there fees?
Each trade pays a 1% fee that goes to the people who fund the market's pool. Some coins (like ZCAT, KNOTS and the PreStocks tokens) also charge their own small transfer fee, which the trade panel shows.
Is this real money?
Not yet. StonkVerse runs on Solana's test network (devnet) with practice copies of each coin. Connect a wallet set to devnet and press Test tokens at the top to get free practice coins.
What are the risks?
If your side loses, those shares are worth nothing. Coins you pay with can also go up or down in price on their own. Only use what you can afford to lose.
